Physical therapy, also known as physiotherapy, comes from the Greek words fysis <\/em>– nature and therapia <\/em>– treatment. It is a set of tools and methods aimed at the prevention and treatment of various diseases. It is carried out with the help of natural factors such as sun, sea, healing mud, water, massage, movement and preformed factors (electric current, ultrasound, laser rays, magnetic field). <\/p>\n

Natural physical factors have been known since ancient times and are the basis of heat therapy, balneotherapy, mud therapy, hydrotherapy, climate therapy and other basic sections of physiotherapy.<\/p>\n
